Adrian is minister at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Hastings. He was a teacher of Mathematics and Science in Sussex, England and Ho, Ghana (with Voluntary Service Overseas). Extending his service in Ghana for third year, he met his future wife Kate and discovered a vocation to Christian ministry. Returning to England, Adrian candidated for the ministry of the United Reformed Church (Congregational/Presbyterian), married Kate, trained in Birmingham, and has ministered in churches in Greenwich (London), Oxted (Surrey) and Marsh Green (Kent).
Adrian has an M.A. in Theology and Education from King’s College London and believes in deepening the theological understanding of church members through study groups. His own theological interests include the historical Jesus and the very early church.
Adrian enjoys listening to choral music and opera, singing in church, badminton, long-distance tramping and un-pasteurised beer.
St Andrew’s is available as a wedding venue. As an outdoor venue, Adrian recommends a very lovely sunken garden at Frimley Park.
